Moving Insurance
We handle your things carefully, but accidents happen even to the most careful crews — a dropped box, a truck accident, things outside anyone's control. That's exactly why insurance matters, and TX Moving & Storage offers coverage options so you're not stuck if something goes wrong.
There are basically three kinds of moving insurance you should know about. We've broken them down below, and if you want the full details, just give us a call.
Required Mover Liability
By law, every licensed mover has to cover your items at a minimum of $0.60 per pound. That number sounds fine until you do the math on something specific — a 5-lb painting worth thousands would only be covered for $3.00 under this. It's why most people who own anything valuable pick up additional coverage on top of it.
Homeowner's Coverage
Your homeowner's policy may already cover part of a move — it varies. Usually only a slice of the full policy value applies, somewhere between 10% and 50%, so it's worth a call to your insurance company to find out exactly what you're working with before you assume you're covered.
PAF Insurance

Nobody wants to think about losing something irreplaceable on moving day. We'd rather you have the right coverage in place and never need it, than skip it and regret it later.
